Jerusalem and
the Temple Mount

Israel is G‑d's chosen land,
   Jerusalem - His holy city.
Yerushalyim - doubly sacred,
One in Heaven - one on earth.

Yerushalem - complete and whole,
Her Temple filled with love and peace.
Her presence felt, embracing all,
G‑d's Spirit, which will never cease.

Nations come, and conquerors go,
   wars directed to one place.
Evil spreading through the world,
   aimed against the Jewish race.

But we'll stand firm,
   Our Temple's there,
though the Mount, itself, is bare.
   We'll guard and save her,
through our faith,
and she'll maintain Her loving care.

Once Again Arabs Are Digging Illegally on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem

The Temple Mount Faithful Movement is calling on the Israeli government to immediately stop all Arab attempts to destroy the remains of the ancient holy Jewish Temple.

Recently the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement discovered illegal digging by the Arabs on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem on the exact location of the ancient Holy Temple itself. This vandalism was done in order to destroy the holy remains of the First and Second Temples in an effort to complete what the Babylonians and the Romans previously did. These criminal activities were done as a result of evil intentions to eliminate the very valuable remains of both Temples in order to deny the existence of the ancient Holy Temple on the Temple Mount.

The First Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 bce and rebuilt by the Israelites in 516 bce. Eventually, the Roman Empire occupied the Land of Israel. In 70 ce the Romans destroyed the Second Temple and exiled a large portion of the Jewish population. In the year 638 ce the Arabs invaded from Arabia and occupied the Land of Israel, including Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, and proceeded to exile the remaining Jewish population that resided in the Land. A few Jewish communities held on, however, with their fingernails dug into the holy ground of Israel and they continued to live as keepers of the Land until the end-times would come and the G‑d of Israel would regather His chosen people Israel and rebuild the Holy Temple, as He promised in His end-time prophecies.

In the year 1967 the G‑d of Israel, together with His Israeli forces, liberated the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem to enable the rebuilding of the Holy Third Temple, which will open the door for the coming of Messiah Ben David. Unfortunately. the weakness and fear that gripped the Israeli leadership at that time caused them to make the decision to allow the Muslim presence to remain on top of the Jewish Temple Mount. They feared human beings more than G‑d, and did not trust the promises of the G‑d of Israel to His people — that He will stand and protect them even if the entire world comes against them.

During recent years, as a result of the weakness of the current Israeli leadership, the Muslims have begun digging on the Temple Mount — the most holy place of the Jewish people and of the entire world — in order to destroy the valuable remains of the First and Second Temples so that they can refute the historical existence of the Jewish Temple on Mount Moriah. This would result in stopping the rebuilding of the Holy Third Temple. The Muslims even renovated the underground area known as "Solomon's Stables," although they actually never were stables, although that is what the Crusaders called them, but rather an important part of the Jewish Temple complex. Despite the fact that Israel regained sovereignty over the Temple Mount and biblical Jerusalem just as they were in biblical times, the Israeli government, once again as a result of the fear and reaction of the Islamic world and the United Nations, allowed the Muslims to carry out these criminal and barbaric acts against G‑d, Israel, and the entire world.

In the year 691 ce the Muslims identified the exact location of the ancient Holy of Holies of the Jewish Temple and built the Dome of the Rock on top of this holy place; they also built the Dome of the Chain on the location of the Holy Altar.

Recently the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement discovered that the Muslims have renewed their diggings on the Temple Mount and this time they are digging in the most holy section of the Temple Mount — the precise area where the Holy Altar was located. The Muslims have encircled the construction area with a metal barrier in order to hide their unlawful work, preventing any observation by the outside world so that they can destroy the significant remains of the Holy Temple and the Holy Altar. (According to the archaeological historian Leen Ritmeyer, the diggings are taking place on the remains of the Temple porch itself.) Despite the fact that the Muslims are hiding their work, the Temple Mount Faithful Movement has photographs [see below] that clearly show the criminal destruction involved in these illegal digging activities.

What the Temple Mount Faithful Movement discovered was terrible and broke their hearts. They were shocked at how far the Muslim Arabs could go in carrying out their abuse and desecration of the most holy remains of the Holy Temple of G‑d in order to attempt to eliminate them entirely.

Gershon Salomon, the chairman of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement, immediately sent a letter to the Israeli government, specifically to Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein, to the Israeli police, to the Israel Antiquities Authority, and to the Mayor of Jerusalem demanding that they immediately stop this criminal Islamic work on the Temple Mount and arrest those who are responsible. He also asked them to investigate what actually was damaged and destroyed. If the legal authorities will not fulfill their task and do all of these follow-up investigations because of foreign pressure, the Temple Mount Faithful Movement will petition the Supreme Court to command the authorities to accomplish this investigation.

Meanwhile, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement will continue to observe and monitor the Temple Mount in order to avoid any further desecration of the holy remains from the First and Second Temples, and to protect and preserve the most holy remains of both temples that our forefathers saved and hid for our generation — the generation of the redemption — to be used in the soon coming Holy Third Temple. This is our commitment before G‑d, Israel, and the entire world. The Muslim vandals cannot stop the call of G‑d to our generation and the desire and dedication of the Israeli people to answer the call of G‑d in our lifetime. The rebuilding of the Holy Temple of G‑d as He prophesied to us has deep significance for Israel and for the entire world. It will open the door to a godly and peaceful end-time era for the entire world that is so needed now more than any other time in the past.

Everyone in the world is called to stand and to help us to bring to pass this major godly vision as G‑d is expecting everyone to do:

"The word that Isaiah the son of Amos saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the L‑rd's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all the nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the L‑rd, to the house of the G‑d of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth Torah, and the word of the L‑rd from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall decide among many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war any more. And they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the L‑rd of hosts has spoken it." (Isaiah 2:1-4; Micah 4:1-4)

Everyone is called to encourage, stand with, and support the Temple Mount Faithful Movement, allowing her to accomplish her holy work at this critical time when it is so needed. Donations can be sent by personal check or money order, made payable to: Temple Mount Faithful Movement, and sent to the address below.

In G‑d we trust!!
