Details of the 2010 Sukkot March

On the holiday of the dedication of the Holy First Temple by King Solomon almost 3,000 years ago, the Temple Mount Faithful Movement marched to the Temple Mount calling for the rebuilding of the Holy Third Temple immediately!

Note: This is the first in a series of reports of the activities of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement since September 2010. Reports of other events will be published in the near future.

Almost 3,000 years ago the King of Israel, King Solomon, the son of King David, built the Holy First Temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem to be the House of G‑d where His Shekinah would dwell among His people Israel. In building the Holy Temple, King Solomon answered the call of G‑d which he gave to His people Israel when He appeared before them on Mount Sinai and gave them the Torah and declared to them: "Build Me a temple and I will dwell among you" (Exodus 25:8). The first Holy Temple was glorified by King Solomon and symbolized the love of the people of Israel to the One True Living G‑d that created His people Israel in order to carry His Word, His moral laws, the Holy and pure way of living of the Holy Torah, and to share these with all of the future generations of Israel and of the world. The Holy Temple was a tower of G‑dly light in the midst of Israel that reminded them day and night of the call of G‑d to them: "to be a holy nation, a kingdom of priests and a light to the nations" (Exodus 19:6).

On September 26, 2010, 18 b'Tishrei 5771, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement marched to the Temple Mount in an exciting event calling the people of Israel to build the Third Holy Temple of G‑d without delay. Almost two thousand years after the destruction of the Second Holy Temple was enough for G‑d. Forty-three years ago, after the miraculous war of 1967, when G‑d appeared before His people Israel and liberated the Temple Mount with the clear intention to again dwell amongst His people in Jerusalem, Gershon Salomon, the chairman and founder of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement in Jerusalem, heard the call of G‑d to His people Israel to rebuild the Third Holy Temple on Mount Moriah — the Temple Mount — without delay. It was then that Gershon founded The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement. He and his friends called Israel to immediately answer this call of G‑d, whose fulfillment would again make Israel a biblical nation with a biblical foundation and mission, which would change the life of all mankind when G‑d dwells among His people Israel and the entire world.

On Sukkot 2010 the Temple Mount Faithful Movement marched to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem calling Israel and the entire world to bring to pass in our lifetime the fulfillment of the call of G‑d to our generation:

"The word that Isaiah the son of Amos saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the L‑RD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all the nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the L‑RD, to the house of the G‑D of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth Torah, and the word of the L‑RD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall decide among many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore." Isaiah 2:2-4 and Micah 4:1-4

Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, is one of the three most important pilgrimage festivals that G‑d gave to Israel. Many thousands of Israelis journeyed to Jerusalem to celebrate this holy pilgrimage in front of the Western Wall of the Temple Mount calling, to G‑d to rebuild His Holy Temple. The Temple Mount Faithful Movement marched to the Temple Mount during this event and called to the thousands of pilgrims to march together with them to the Temple Mount, the real place where the G‑d of Israel is expecting to meet them, and to refrain from worshiping outside of the Temple Mount at the Western Wall, the place that symbolizes destruction and exile; its time is finished. G‑d, together with His Israeli soldiers, already liberated the Temple Mount in 1967. He does not want the desecration of the Temple Mount by the enemies of Israel to continue, but rather to rebuild His Holy Temple and to open a new godly era for Israel and the entire world.

The climax of this exciting event was when the prayers of the Faithful Movement — the same words that were prayed almost 3,000 years ago when King Solomon dedicated the First Holy Temple to G‑d — were again heard on the Holy Mountain of G‑d and on the beautiful mountains of Jerusalem. The Faithful prayed to G‑d: "May the Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily during our lifetime. May we have the privilege to dedicate it to Your Holy Name on the upcoming Sukkot and worship You with love as our forefathers did during biblical times, and they prayed the exciting prayer of King Solomon when he dedicated the First Holy Temple:

"[T]hat thy eyes may be open towards this house night and day, towards the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayst hearken to the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place. And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray towards this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive? ... then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them back to the land which thou didst give to their fathers ... that thy eyes may be open to the supplication of thy servant, and to the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken to them in all that they call for to thee. For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thy inheritance, as thou didst speak by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou didst bring our fathers out of Egypt, O L‑RD G‑D? ... Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but comes out of a far country for thy name's sake: for they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm; when he shall come and pray towards this house; hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have built is called by thy name." (I Kings 8:29-30, 34, 52-53, 41-43)

The march of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement on Sukkot was an important event that again brought the cause of the movement into the midst of the life of Israel. It was another major step of the movement towards the rebuilding of the Holy Temple in our generation. More and more people in Israel and throughout the entire world have solidarity with the movement and are joining with her, standing with and supporting her holy work, exactly as the G‑d of Israel is expecting them to do. In this way they are blessed to have the privilege of having an important part in the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, exactly as G‑d declared to His people Israel about His endtime Holy Temple: "For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations" (Isaiah 56:7)

Today Israel and the entire world are experiencing the critical endtime's events that indicate that the endtime redemptive prophecies spoken by the prophets of Israel for Israel and the entire world will come to pass in the near future. On Sukkot we could feel the coming redemption in the atmosphere of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Everyone in Israel and throughout the world are called to join and to stand with the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement and to help her complete her holy work and to fulfill her godly mission in our lifetime.
