On Tisha b'Av (29th July 2001), the day which commemorates the destruction of both Temples, 2,587 years since the destruction of the First Temple in 586BCE and 1,931 years since the destruction of the Second Temple in 70CE, the Temple Mount Faithful Movement will go up to the Temple Mount. They will go up not only to mourn the destruction of both Temples but, even more then this, to start the building of the end-time Third Temple. This is the reason that the Faithful want to take the cornerstone with them and to bring a new prophetic end-time call to the people of Israel and all the world that it is time to rebuild the Temple as the G–d of Israel expects of us and to bring the mourning of so many years to an end when the Temple is rebuilt. This will be the end of the time of the destruction of the Temple, Jerusalem and the land and people of Israel. It will also be the beginning of the time of G–d's judgement on all the enemies of Israel who for thousands of years and again in our time are trying to continue the destruction and to again destroy the great dream and desire of the G–d and people of Israel to rebuild the house of G–d on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and to destroy G–d's prophetic end-time re-creation of the people and land of Israel and their eternal capital, Jerusalem.
We are living in the times of which Isaiah prophesied. It is the biggest failure and sin of our time that Israel — with the encouragement, backing, and support of all mankind — is not immediately rebuilding the Temple. Everyone is involved in his own materialistic gain and in the building of his own house and not of the house of G–d. The Temple Mount Faithful Movement decided to change this evil materialistic situation, to undertake the godly revolution and to bring G–d's expectations to an immediate reality. We are listening to His word through the prophet Haggai who brought the Word of G–d and His anger with regard to this. "Thus speaks the L-rd of hosts, saying, This people say that the time has not yet come, the time that the L-rd's house should be built. Then came the word of the L-rd by Haggai the prophet, saying, ... Thus says the L-rd of hosts; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, says the L-rd. You looked for much, and, behold, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why? says the L-rd of hosts. Because of my house that lies in ruins, and everyone of you runs to his own house. Therefore the heaven above you have withheld the dew, and the earth has withheld its produce. And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the grain, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground brings forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands" (Haggai 1:2,3,7-11). As we see here, the Word of G–d to Israel is very clear. it is also no wonder that this year Israel has not had sufficient rain and has no peace. It is so clear that the rebuilding of the Temple will not only open the door for the coming of Mashiach ben David to Israel and all the world but will bring about a godly blessed and peaceful revolution in Israel and all the universe and the mourning will become a time of joy and happiness. It is so clear. This Word of G–d is written again and again in the Tanach. We do not understand how people do not pay attention to it at this time. The G–d of Israel told us so clearly that "Thus says the L-rd of hosts: Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, who spoke on the day that the foundation of the house of the L-rd of hosts was laid, saying that the Temple might be built. For before these days there was no wage for man, nor any wage for beast; nor was there any peace to him who went out or who came in, because of the adversary; for I set all men everyone against his neighbour. But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days, says the L-rd of hosts. For there shall be the seed of peace; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her produce, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. And it shall come to pass, that as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, but let your hands be strong. For thus says the L-rd of hosts: As I intended to do evil to you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, says the Lord of hosts, and I did not relent; ... Thus says the L-rd of hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall become times of joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts to the house of Judah; therefore love truth and peace" (Zechariah 8:9-14,19).
As we know, since the enemy of Israel and the terrorist bands of the PLO started their violence against Israel after Ariel Sharon, the present of Prime Minister of Israel went up to the Temple Mount to demonstrate the sovereignty of Israel over the Temple Mount in the midst of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount has remained closed. When Sharon was elected he promised to open the Temple Mount to Israelis, Jews and other non-Moslems. It is unfortunate for him that since this promise, he has still not opened the Temple Mount because of fear of the reaction of the Arab, their friends all over the world and the UN. Ariel Sharon has not passed the godly test Who taught all Israel not to fear anyone when they do what G–d expects them to do on the Temple Mount, Jerusalem and all over the land of Israel. Ariel Sharon is making a terrible mistake when he listens with fear to what the enemies of Israel and even all the nations tell him what to do and what not to do. He should learn from the former Prime Minister, Ehud Barak, who made the same mistake and the G–d of Israel dismissed him from office and sent him home. This will be the message that the Temple Mount Faithful Movement will carry on Tisha b'Av to Ariel Sharon. The Temple Mount Faithful Movement submitted a petition to the Supreme Court of Israel today (3 Av 5761/23 July 2001) which will be discussed this week. In the petition we ask the Supreme Court to open the Temple Mount and to allow the Faithful to enter the holy hill of the G–d of Israel on Tisha b'Av and to prevent the Arab enemies on the Temple Mount from causing a riot if the Temple Mount is opened to us or to anyone else. Also the petition asks that we be allowed to take the cornerstone with us and to hold the ceremony of anointing it. We also stated very clearly in the petition that we do not merely want to be allowed to pray and demonstrate at the Western Gate to the Temple Mount as on previous events but to have full access to the Temple Mount with full freedom of worship there and demonstrating our inspiration and motivation to rebuild the Temple. In the petition, Ariel Sharon is called on to open the Temple Mount on Tisha b'Av. We write that the continuing Arab violence and desecration of the Temple Mount and the giving in to them by the government of Israel is an act of evil against G–d and His Word, against Israeli Law and gives a prize for violence to the enemies who want to cancel any Jewish identity and ownership on the holy hill of the G–d of Israel. The situation on the Temple Mount and the closing of the gates is an activity against the existence of Israel as a Jewish state of the G–d of Israel. This closure of the Temple Mount to the people of G–d over such a long period can no longer continue. We know that everything for which we struggle will be decided by the highest court of justice, the supreme court of G–d , Himself. We know very clearly that He leads us to do what we have decided to do years ago and that only He and His highest court controls the destiny of the land and people of Israel. He expects us to do what He and we so desire to do — to rebuild His house and to again make Israel a biblical nation with a biblical mission. He expects Israel to show Him that they want this of their own free will and not because G–d is forcing them to do it. He expects Israel to love Him, to fulfil His expectations and to obey Him because they feel in their hearts that they have a deep desire to do so. Then He will create the circumstances which will allow them to fulfil this holy cause. Rabbi Yehuda HaLevi lived in the exile in the 13th Century in Spain and then made Aliya to Israel. He lived in Jerusalem and was one of the most important Jewish figures in the exile. In his book, HaKusari, he wrote that the Temple will only be rebuilt if the people of Israel have the deepest desire and longing to rebuild the Temple. This godly message is so correct. The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement has this deepest desire and longing to rebuild the Temple, the house of G–d in Jerusalem and to make it a reality in our lifetime. We know that this with this desire and longing it will be done exactly as G–d taught us and expects of us. We call on everyone in Israel and all over the world to have this deep desire and longing in their hearts and to act for this together with us in a practical manner as we do. This is the right godly time for the desire and longing as well as to act and struggle for it exactly as G–d said to His people, Israel, during the exodus from Egypt and they answered Him with complete obedience. Na'aseh v'nishmah - We will do and we will hear. Everyone in Israel and all over the world is called on in this critical time of redemption to give their support, to encourage, to participate practically and to pray for this holy end-time campaign of The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement. Expect great godly events with Israel and her friends on the Temple Mount, in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel in the near future and be a privileged part of them. |
