In an historical event a cornerstone for the Third Temple was brought to the gates of the Temple Mount and the City of King David in Jerusalem by the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement and their followers on 20th October.

The cornerstone was brought during the holy Feast of Tabernacles, the same Feast at which King Solomon first brought the Ark of the Covenant to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in an exciting ceremony. (1 Kings 8)

Many preparations were made for this unusual event. The feeling was that we were going to make one of the biggest events in the life of Israel and all mankind. The rebuilding of the Temple, the House of G-d, in Jerusalem has a very deep significance for the prophetic present and future life of Israel. Every part of the life of Israel will be affected by this and a new era will be opened in the life of Israel and all mankind. Israel is now living in the time of the prophetic redemption and fulfillment of all G-d's end-time promises. The rebuilding of the Temple was the biggest desire of this nation over the last 2000 years since the destruction of the Second Temple in the year 70 C.E. This is also the biggest desire of Israel today. This will be a key event which will solve all the problems of Israel and will bring to the life of this nation real peace. This will bring back Israel to dwell in all the parts and boundaries of the promise land which G-d promised to this nation in an eternal covenant to Abraham and his seed.

The main goal of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is to bring the G-d of Israel and the Universe to the center of all aspects of the life of this nation and all mankind. This can and must only be done in the place which G-d chose to be His House on the Temple Mount on the location of the First and Second Temples. A new era will be opened in the life of all the world and Mashiach ben David will come and be the King of Israel and all mankind.

We felt so clearly that in the 50th year of the rebirth of the People and State of Israel, the Year of Jubilee, this would be the right godly time to lay the cornerstone. We know very well that this is the will of G-d and that He expects His people to do it since He brought the Israeli army to the Temple Mount and liberated it for Israel for ever. We can hear the Voice of G-d saying to us exactly as He said through the prophet Haggai before the building of the Second Temple when the people of Israel hesitated to rebuild the House of G-d. In the second year of King Darius, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying, "Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: 'This people says, "The time has not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built."'" Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, "Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?" Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: "Consider your ways! You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes." Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified," says the LORD. At that time G-d promised us exactly as He promises us today not to fear any of the enemies of Israel when we shall rebuild His House because He will not allow any of them to touch Israel.

So we decided to do what Zerubbabel, Ezra and Nehemiah did in their time: to dedicate a cornerstone for the Third Temple, to lay it on the Temple Mount in the location which G-d indicated to us, and to start the godly process of the rebuilding of the House of G-d and to pull after us the government and people of Israel.

The cornerstone, which weighs 4.5 tons, was brought from Mitzpe Ramon which is in the desert of Israel. This is a beautiful marble stone which was not cut or polished by any metal. We found the stone in a miraculous way. It is a natural stone which is similar to the stones of which the Second Temple Was built. By this we fulfilled the godly biblical law in Exodus 20:25 not to profane the stone by hewing it with an iron tool. Also in the building of the Temples no iron was heard on the building site. (1 Kings 6:7) This stone was given to us by a Jewish family, named Alafi, who returned to the land of Israel from the Babylon almost 50 years ago. They have a tradition in their family that they were the builders of the First and Second Temples and that they would also be the builders of the Third temple. They even started preparing other stones for the Third Temple.

In the early morning of 20th October, this cornerstone was placed on a flatbed truck from where it was temporarily located in the midst of a traffic circle not far from the Damascus Gate of the Old City. The truck was covered with Israeli flags and a Chuppah covered the stone. The truck brought the cornerstone to the southern gates of the Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. The southern gates of the Temple Mount were the main gates through which pilgrims entered the First and Second Temples. Now it had a special symbolic significance. At the same time many of the members of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement and their friends joined together near the Western gate of the Temple Mount. Together with them were priests, one of whom wore the original priestly garments which were prepared in Jerusalem in the last years according to the biblical law. Levites with musical instruments and shofars were also ready to take an important part in this event. Ten vessels which were reconstructed in Jerusalem for the Third Temple in the last years were brought to be used in this historical event.

This big crowd and many who joined them marched with music, songs and great joy to the cornerstone which waited in front of the City of King David. The crowd and the Israeli soldiers who joined them and gave an official meaning to the event, surrounded the truck with the cornerstone. The shofars were blown by the Levites and the chairman, Gershon Salomon, read from the prayer of King Solomon when he dedicated the First Temple and also from the Psalms and prayers of King David when he dedicated the first altar on the Temple Mount. We felt that we were making history and that one day the historians will write important pages about this event.

"Then Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven; and he said: 'LORD God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts. You have kept what You promised Your servant David my father; You have both spoken with Your mouth and fulfilled it with Your hand, as it is this day. Therefore, LORD God of Israel, now keep what You promised Your servant David my father, saying, 'You shall not fail to have a man sit before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as you have walked before Me.' And now I pray, O God of Israel, let Your word come true, which You have spoken to Your servant David my father. But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built! Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O LORD my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today that Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said, 'My name shall be there,' that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place. And may You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Hear in heaven Your dwelling place; and when You hear, forgive. When anyone sins against his neighbor, and is forced to take an oath, and comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this temple, then hear in heaven, and act, and judge Your servants, condemning the wicked, bringing his way on his head, and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness. When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and when they turn back to You and confess Your name, and pray and make supplication to You in this temple, then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers. When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them, then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your servants, Your people Israel, that You may teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance. When there is famine in the land, pestilence or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers; when their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities; whatever plague or whatever sickness there is; whatever prayer, whatever supplication is made by anyone, or by all Your people Israel, when each one knows the plague of his own heart, and spreads out his hands toward this temple: then hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men), that they may fear You all the days that they live in the land which You gave to our fathers. Moreover, concerning a foreigner, who is not of Your people Israel, but has come from a far country for Your name's sake (for they will hear of Your great name and Your strong hand and Your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this temple, hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, that all peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that this temple which I have built is called by Your name. When Your people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever You send them, and when they pray to the LORD toward the city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name, then hear in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause. When they sin against You (for there is no one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near; yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of those who took them captive, saying, 'We have sinned and done wrong, we have committed wickedness'; and when they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and pray to You toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name: then hear in heaven Your dwelling place their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause, and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You; and grant them compassion before those who took them captive, that they may have compassion on them (for they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out of Egypt, out of the iron furnace), that Your eyes may be open to the supplication of Your servant and the supplication of Your people Israel, to listen to them whenever they call to You. For You separated them from among all the peoples of the earth to be Your inheritance, as You spoke by Your servant Moses, when You brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.' And so it was, when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to the LORD, that he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. Then he stood and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying: 'Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. May the LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers. And may these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near the LORD our God day and night, that He may maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel, as each day may require, that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no other. Let your heart therefore be loyal to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day." (1 Kings 8:22-61)

When we were ready to march with the cornerstone to the Temple Mount, the officer responsible told us that the government had decided not to allow us to lay the cornerstone on the Temple Mount because of fear of the Arab and international reaction. The weakness which again appeared at this big historical moment caused another opportunity for the start of the rebuilding of the Temple to be missed by the government of Israel. Again it was fear of the enemies of G-d and Israel and not the fear of Almighty G-d and His promises and expectations to trust only Him. We decided to march with the stone to the City of King David and to say to everyone in Israel and all over the world that even though the cornerstone was not laid on the Temple Mount, in any case we started the process of the rebuilding of the House of G- d. The cornerstone is ready and we brought it to the city of kings David and Solomon, the builders of the altar and the First Temple on the Temple Mount. During this march we felt the presence of G-d and even the spirit of kings David and Solomon blessing and encouraging us.

The City of King David was filled with joy, songs and music when we came to the Pool of Siloam. We made the same ceremony which our forefathers did in the First and Second Temples when, during the feast of Tabernacles, they marched with the Priests leading them with joy and music which was never before seen in Jerusalem to draw the holy water from the Pool of Siloam and bring it to pour it out on the altar. This was accompanied by prayers and ten of the Psalms asking G-d to bless the soon coming winter with a lot of rain and blessings. We did the same when the priest who was with us drew the water with the same prayers and Psalms. The holy water was taken by the priest in a special vessel and we marched back to the truck with the corner stone which waited for us in the middle of the City of King David. The special shofars of the Levites were blown very loudly which could be heard ion all the city of King David when the priest poured the water on the cornerstone. In this way he dedicated the cornerstone to be the first holy stone for the Third Temple. We prayed that G-d will give us the privilege to pour water on the altar in the rebuilt Temple at the next Feast of Tabernacles.

After the reading of G-d's promises to King David and King Solomon about the building of the First Temple, we continued to march up to the closed southern gates of the Temple Mount. The truck with the corner stone circled the walls of the Old City 7 times symbolizing what Joshua did in Jericho praying that also now the walls of hatred against Israel will fall and will be opened before G-d and His sons, Israel. After this we again entered the Old City. We prayed Feast prayers before the closed western gate of the Temple Mount and we sent a message to the Israeli government when Gershon Salomon called on them to immediately end the pagan Arab Islamic occupation of the Temple Mount and to rebuild the House of G-d and to again make it a godly focus and a House of worship and prayer for Israel and all the nations.

Later the big crowd and others marched with Israeli flags and music and songs through the main street of the Old City other gates of the Temple Mount. Near every gate we stopped and blew the shofars and read and prayed from the Psalms. It was so special to do this on the same place that the kings, the prophets and the priests and Levites of Israel did it thousands of years ago when they circled the altar and holy gates of the Temple Mount with the lulav and etrog during the Feast of Tabernacles. Now we did it in the same way. The presence of G-d and the spirit of our forefathers followed us all over where we went.

This exciting major historical event which was reported by the television, radio and news media in Israel and many places in the world opened a new stage, and even a new era, in the life of all of us. The process of the rebuilding of the Temple has started and now we should continue and complete it soon. As we said, this is the clear will of G-d that we can recognize day by day in the life of Israel. We believe that everyone is called by G-d, Israel and the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement to assist us spiritually, morally and practically to complete it. We are expecting everyone in Israel and all over the world to be a part of this event.
